After i mentioned about the Sinda & Mendaki thingy in my entry titled 'Random', a few came up to me asking if Jali is an Indian. Yes, he is one white Indian he would claim. Remember Social Studies in secondary school? Then you should roughly know the history of Sinhalese. Anyway, he's back from Brunei, not in good shape, but at least he didn't suffer from buasir.. Hahaha.. Lost his specs while crossing the river, luckily not the Oakley. Mamat ni nasib mcm kentang betol la.. Stung by hornet & bees on the neck, abbrassions on right shoulder, swollen ankle & little finger on the left.. He's more than happy to be back. Oh, i miss you man! I'm so excited for December. Last week of December to be precise. Jali's passing out and we'll be going for our much needed getaway to KL. I have not done a thing for the engagement. SIL: Da sewa baju? Amalina: No need. Ade kain, tinggal nak antar kat tailor je. SIL: Bile nak antar tailor? Amalina: Entah. Nanti la, belom ade rase nak gi tailor. Hehe. Harah: Da decide on the things you going to exchange? Amalina: No. Exchange cake je la eh? :-)Mum: Guest list? Amalina: Ismail & Kamal's family and my girlfriends & partners. Full-stop. But if exchange ring & cake je, gfs & partners pon tak payah. Kite party lepas semua selesai.Jali: Bile nak beli ring? Amalina: Benda lain tak bole ke? I tak suke pakai cincin la. Tapi if you nak belikan jugak, i nak the 5k ring from Larry's. (Sampai skrg tak tanye lagi!)Lucky thing Aida is busy bugging Nooreen for her wedding preps. If not, she'll be the first to scream at me.It's nice to have a handful of people who sincerely cares for me. I have my parents who keep me sane when things go wrong, when i just snapped. My mum, when asked by cousins about my engagement, she would deny. When i asked why, she would say that we should go through all the 'merisik' stage first before annoucing it to people. But I think, good news must be shared! I don't see a need to go through the 'merisik' stage. I don't see a need for 'tunang' either, actually. Haha. I don't know when the merisik will happen, but tunang will sure happen on one of the CNY holiday, hopefully on the 14th. I have my brother, who really understands me, probably because he's already married, thank you! He truly understands what i feel when Jali was away. He didn't tease when he saw me cry coz i was too happy to receive Jali's call.I have my SIL, Kak Nisah, who is much more excited than I am. I know i can rely on you, you're the best! You're always there to help, and you know i need that. You're like my PA! Haha..
I have my sister, who keeps reminding me of her langkah bendol/jendol gifts. Sister, i'll sponsor your trip to Bintan. Jgn macam-macam. Nevertheless, thank you for being happy for me. I pray that you'll meet your Mr. Right very soon. I have my cousin, Nurharah, who suggested that I should just get married instead of getting engaged so that we can go honeymoon together. It's ok babe, yg tua, didulukan.. Hehe.. I have my girls, whom I can't rely on now coz each of them has their own problems to settle. To know that they're happy for me is already good enough. I love them! Oh, our Chief will be getting married next month! Congrats Mummy!And of course, my love. Glad to have you back. Pls don't scare me with those moustache again ok? We'll go through this journey together like we always did. I'm not sure if i'm prepared, but i know you'll ensure that everything's gonna be all right.. I love you more! :-)
